Adani Airport Holdings Ltd. recorded a 7% growth on-year in cargo handled to cross the one-million-tonne mark last fiscal, a company statement said.
The company handled 10.13 lakh metric tonne of cargo in the financial year concluded March 2024, capturing over 30% market share. In the previous fiscal, the total cargo tonnage handled stood at 9.45 lakh metric tonne.
“This achievement solidifies our position as key facilitators in both international and domestic airfreight operations in India,” said Adani Airport Chief Executive Officer Arun Bansal.
